Empower Global partners with CSAN to support education in South Africa
On Tuesday July 20th, Empower Global joined forces with the Canadian Southern African Network (CSAN) to celebrate the friendship of Canadians & South Africans and the opportunity to Make a Difference in the lives of disadvantaged children.
CSAN was pleased to have as their special guest for an intimate speaking Engagement, Francois Pienaar, Captain of the Springbok Rugby Team that won the Rugby World Cup in 1995 (RWC). This event was a rare opportunity to meet world-famous rugby captain and humanitarian, Francois Pienaar. Francois shared stories about his close friendship with former President Nelson Mandela, and the making of Oscar-nominated film Invictus; discussed the changes and challenges facing South Africa today and how we can make a difference by helping disadvantaged youth in South Africa.
All proceeds from this event benefited the The MAD Bunch, as administered by Empower Global.
